ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a diligent and experienced Creative Project Manager with a proven track record in film and content creation as well as relevant experience in advertising to join the Marketing team at Vixen Media Group. This position will serve as a project manager and key liaison for a varied set of creative projects and campaigns and offer general creative support to cross-collaborative teams.  

Reporting directly to the Manager of Brand Strategy, the Creative Project Manager will work in close alliance with other Marketing stakeholders, such as Marketing Director, Marketing Manager, Creative Producers etc, on a daily basis. He/She will facilitate the project plans and see through the execution of them, all while keeping  the creative vision, goals and general requirements top of mind for the final product. This position requires the ability to effectively and efficiently liaise with both in-house and remote teams on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate has the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment with both a creative and operational approach. They must find practical solutions to creative problems while simultaneously striking a balance between requests, efficiencies, and cost management all the while having a keen eye for detail and perfection.  Hyper-organization, vigilance, and strong communication skills are critical for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in close tandem with key Marketing department stakeholders to determine project plans and scope, gather requirements and establish key priorities. 

  • End-to-end project management and coordination of assigned projects inclusive of developing and presenting project plans, progress tracking and status reporting, determining asset requirements, defining core milestones, and developing schedules, timelines and basic budgets.

  • Manage a seamless flow of information between cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Work with in-house creative, marketing and productions teams to develop and present full concept decks, treatments, shot lists, storyboards, and other previsualization methods to collaborating departments and project stakeholders. 

  • Assist in the planning, development and coordination of assigned production shoots, special events, or other forms of content/branding initiatives via in-house Production, Art, and creative teams as well as outsourced content creators if/when required. (Ie. Creative Development, Pre-Production, Production, Post Production and Publishing) 

  • Collaborate with content editors and designers to ensure final deliverables are up to brand standards, are aligned with the project specifications and are inline with the vision for each project.

  • Help manage relationships with key internal and external creatives, advertisers, agencies, and third-party vendors, in order to build a network of collaborators including creators, influencers, production companies, and directors.

  • Coordinate and consultant with a wide variety of cross-functional teams including key company and project stakeholders, Marketing, Production, Legal, Product, and Sales teams as required.

  • Conduct content and asset review with the Manager of Brand Strategy, Marketing Director, and Graphics team, ensuring project needs have been met.

  • Attend, participate and at times, lead and present in relevant meetings when required.

  • Conduct ongoing video, photo, design, trend, and other creative research and inspiration to present and incorporate for upcoming projects. 

  • Continually lead the evolution of workflow and processes and systems better assist and to scale.

BONUS DUTIES 

  • Assist with event management, design, and coordination if required. 

SCHEDULE

  • Full-Time Position 

  • Occasionally, additional hours may be needed during high production season

  • 24/7 Mentality (production hours and production pace)

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS 

  • Degree in film production and/ or fine arts or Marketing.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct Project management experience. 

  • Project Management Certificate from an accredited institution preferred.

  • Strong understanding of project management softwares and tools. ( Monday, Asana, Jira,  + )

  • Proficient computer skills - Google Suite, MS Office, Slack, 

  • Experience with Smartsheets and/or Production software (Studio Binder, Movie Magic) is a plus.

  • Basic Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, InDesign.

  • Creative Content Production experience and Production set experience.

  • Strong project leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling for media ranging from videography to photography. 

  • Ability to articulate and visualize concepts through mood boards, storyboards, and other previsualization methods 

  • Ability to creatively problem-solve in a fast-paced, studio production setting.

  • Exceptional interaction/communication skills in team and group settings.

  • Solid verbal and written communications.
